Euro 2008 - EA servers always down

I recently rented a copy of Euro 2008 for Xbox 360, but everytime I try to register through EA's system it returns an error saying that the servers are not available at this time.

I've been trying this for over a week, is anyone else having a similar problem, or could it possibly to do with the fact that I have a rental copy of the disc?

I do not think it has anything to do with you having a rented copy.

TBH I haven't played Euro this week but since I got it (release day) I've never experienced any problems playing matches online.

Ive experienced other problems, such as textures going weird, whistles not blowing at half time etc, the servers do seem to go up and down a fair bit.
