bbc and the tennis

Why oh why does the bbc have to put bloody tennis on bbc one cant they leave it on bbc 2 so people like myself can watch programs like on the fiddle it gets on my goat.:mad:
 
For christ sake, how many channels do you have to choose from? How many channels is the tennis on? How long does Wimbledon last? How often does Wimbledon occur? Support your country.
 
At least neighbours was moved to channel 5, else it was always dropped during two weeks during crappy wimbledon...hehe :D

and i also think it should stay on bbc2, they ruin the evening viewing for normal people if they have it BBC1 too (Lol) ;)

Good film but I rented it out 2 weeks ago.

have I got better taste or has tv gone down the drain. 8 years ago, I could sit and watch tv all night on 4 channels. Now I watch a few hours a week.

As an englishman, you should never say that, were the only ones keeping Britain alive. I see the scots are perfectly happy to bring the Union Jack when its Tim or Greg, but as soon as its a scotsman. oh well no, whip out the scotland flag.

I find it anoying, its the same with wales, they need to realise Britain is better for them than it is for the english.

1966 world cup (and thats football!). Compare the amount of Union Jacks to the St.George flag. Its anoying, we should always bring the Union Jack when the player is listed in the tournament as 'GB', Only in the commonwealth games or football should we have fun with our seperate flags. I even see the scots willing Brazil on to beat us in the 2002 world cup, whats that all about!.

As for complaining about Tennis for 2 weeks. The amount of Eastenders thats been on far ecceeds it, and never brings the excitiment that Murrays match just brought. Tennis is one of the few sports we invented that we still have a chance at.

Tennis > Football

Wimbledon is a British institution and rightfully so should be on the BBC and shown whenever it is on, regardless of whatever other programming is on.

Yep. Absolutley, also arent the cameras actually the beeb's unlike World Cups where it is just a global broadcast.

Personally I'm British first Scottish second, it gets my back up as well.


Murrays match was fantastic an absolute corker I'm glad they made them play on.
