I've been experimenting with the Dunks on the Nike Store and i want to customise some...i've found a few awesome designs i'd like but i was just wondering if anyone had actually ordered a pair of customised trainers from Nike? Any problems? Happy with the service? :)

Nope, never really seen any before either, got any pictures of what your wanting?

I'll probably post another thread in a week or so...but i am looking at the Dunks with all white/black or perhaps something much more colourful with yellow/purple/white and perhaps black as well. :)

I've tried on several pairs in shops so i know my size.

yeah i got them done years ago when i used to play basketball. Quality was real good. Had to get an aunt in america to get them for me and bring them over when she was coming over cause they only shipped to america. I'll try stick up some pics if i can find them.

Nope. Just checked and they DO ship customised to England. I just tried to customise some trainers and tried to purchase them. The country was 'UK' and so were all the prices.

If you're on about Nike ID stuff then me and my eldest have both bought trainers from them before and there's nothing wrong with the products, delivery or service. The only thing I would say is that they came up a bit small so order an extra 1/2 size if you can:)

Very nice 'JG'. ;)

Question regarding the sizing...so the sizes i tried on in the shop, i just add half a size? Wonder why they are a bit small. Hmm. 8.5 it is..for some reason, 9 didn't fit very well which is odd as my Nike 6.0s are 9.

When I ordered some shoes from the Nike Store i got them 1 size smaller than i wanted.

After a few days of wearing them though they strechted out and are fine now.

I don't know why it is.
I always get a 9 in any make but these 9's are just a fraction too small, so if I were to order again I'd get 9.5 to be on the safe side:)

Ordered custom k-swiss before, i'm not sure how the nike site works but are they listing the stuff in American sizes or UK?

Dont want to end up with the wrong sizes!

IIRC, nikeid.com do UK as well
You just create an account and then make your own show.
Might take awhile to get to you though.

hmm, wonder how consistent that "order half a size larger" rule is, thats quite important!

Indeed, that is what i am concerned about..in the shop the size 9s were far too big and the size 8s seemed to fit very well...so 8.5 could theoretically be perfect.

What happens if they aren't the right size...do i need to pay to send them back? Or what?

Nike should run on one sizing system, so just pick up your current fitting nike trainer and check the size in it.

If it's UK size 10 you are wearing, order a US size 11. The size tag inside your nike trainer will tell you those information, if that's what you are asking.
