360 BC was limited at launch, they took a while to get all the decent games working. Its not like they had it at the get go for every title.

A theory:
Sony have done a microsoft and have started coding backwards compatibility for each game individually. In order to recoup the costs of this they have also released the games they have coded on the PSN so anyone without an original copy can also buy it there as a digital download. The result of this is original copies will work, and costs are minimized by people buying it from the store.

When did you turn into a raging troll? i always made a point of reading your informative pro-PS3 posts but at the moment you spend more time slating the 360 than promoting the PS3,

no maybe not, but if we have the disc why should we be forced to buy a new download only version ?
If the harddrive version is supported id be surprized if the disc version wasnt. Coding wouldnt be that different. & if youve already got the disc version havent you got a PS2 anyway?
Aint sure how PS2 games on PSN could be a negative thing as opposed to not having them.

nope havent had a ps2 for years now,
i probably wont in most cases as i find older games give me head aches now
but if theres a game that pops up for £12.99 or so that i could get on the auction site or in town cheaper id like to save a few pennies

I have a load of PS2 games, but I gave my PS2 to a friend who went to a different University to play on, but kept plenty of my games, so we don't necessarily have a PS2, but I realise that in 99% of the cases, you're correct, but then again, Streeteh is a victim in here.

The 360 already has backwards compatability - the newer 40gb PS3s do not - why should I have to rebuy my old games just because they don't want to put BC on their consoles for some unknown, bizarre reason?
I don't mind buying old games from the Playstation Store/XL or wherever, if I don't have the game - but not if I already have it but am being forced because of hardware/software rubbish.
