A review or just a big advertisement?

(My friend just asked me on MSN what I thought of the Auris after watching this, being the car noob that he is said "i think its really nice ,after watching that review!)
 
That guy is such a ****. Is it 5th gear? If it is the manufacturers don't give them anything if they say bad things.


Edit* hang on, 1.3 VVTi 0-60 in 11 seconds!? HOT HATCH, what :confused:

It was almost as if my eyes had suddenly opened up to a huge conspiracy. I thought Top Gear was a big advertising lie! However, no - just very desperate, comical advertising from Toyota.
 
The review should have said "this car is ideal for boring old people, the slow 11 seconds 0-60 and heavy ****ing doors make it ideal for the old duffers to get to tesco and back totally safe"
 
He lost all cred years ago. I'm waiting to see what wise words of bs he has about fuel prices and ways to save money on fuel (ITV now)
 
I've seen him at toyota hq a few times, you have to accept he is paid to do this and therefore says what he is told. This is a video made for toyota by toyota. Not an independant review.

Who envies it? It's standard across the industry and people like Kia and Hyundai provide longer!

This is awful disguised advertising... really hope it doesn't sucker too many people in.

I've driven the Yaris with all engines and gearboxes and reckon it's an awful car. Auris is reasonable if a bit plain.
 
The older he gets, the more Quentin looks like a dodgy car salesman.

where else is it posted apart from youtube though ? ive not seen it on telly or anything.
 
im pretty sure they do a super charged auris which does look nice up close :cool: it was outside loaders toyota a few weeks back in black, twin pipes and a different body kit, i wouldnt say no to one.

the rest though just looks boring.


and danza thats not tiff its mr boring himself quiten wilson :P

Is that the one where he gets someone to:

Trade in their old car for a new one to save money on fuel.
Trade in their petrol mini for a diesel.
Gets someone to put magnets on there fuel line and is convinced its saved the driver money, but the driver is obviously not buying it and claims she has just driven better.

It's not for tv, it's point of sale and internal i.e within the toyota network. But is obviously reproduced onto dvd etc. Not quite sure why someone would upload it to youtube
