To stab things. It's being marketed as a survival tool if you're attacked by bears/sharks etc. (Not too likely here, to be fair). In reality it's an excuse to make a really cool knife.

The injection of all that air at such pressure will do much more damage than just the stab alone, and it mentions on the page linked that the freezing also stops the (now deaded) animal from bleeding straight away - so if you use it to stab a shark underwater, the shark will float to the surface, and away from you, before it starts gushing blood and attracts a load more sharks.
