Aching Knuckle

The past few days my left middle finger knuckle is really starting to ache and I have no idea why.

I play a lot of bass guitar and am always using a pc/typing. I have done these both for many years and never had any problems, I'm 24.

Does anyone know what this could be or experienced anything similar themselves?

This could be close to a medical thread, if you are worried then go see your doctor.

Occasionally I get sore fingers but I usually just crack my knuckles and that sorts it after a brief period.

Yer I go round hitting people with 1 of my 10 knuckles, its great fun.

was actually thinking middle finger, but if you want to punch people with 1 finger be my guest.

Go see a doctor, you don't want any of the nasty stuff like carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel, rsi etc.
I have still get rsi in my fretting hand which at times can stop me playing, I can't hang my bass or guitar as low as i'd like any more either.

Tbh it's probably nothing to be to be worried about as far as the long term is concerned if it's just one knuckle, plenty of time to put it right.
