Pictures of my first Water cooling build..

About £220 that includes the fan controller, fluid, tubing, 2 waterblocks, tripple rad, pump/res, barbs and the 3 fans which you can get for half the price. I just wanted the scythe because i thought they were worth paying a bit extra for.

Really nice setup Huddy. I can't wait to do mine now! I like the towel trick. Will definately use that.

RoEy

P.S. Great Ali Picture too! I've got one of him meeting The Beatles in the ring, signed, by Ali ofcourse. A John Lennon signature would have been a bit more expensive. :)

Thank you.

I've had a final check last night, So I'm now ready to start clocking to 3.6GHz.. However, the garden and a long cool beer is far to tempting at the moment :D

Amen bro...

I'm actually about to go into the garden with a nice cold beer myself, although i'm also taking out my case to be hacked up and then install water-cooling into =)

PS. Awesome build defiantely a nice feeling when you first set one up.. be warned though, it's addictive =\

Nice work Huddy. Any reason you didnt go for Thermochill PA Rad?

Makes me want to put my Ice Dragon back together *sigh*

I just read better reports on the Swiftech.. The whole thing's a gamble really as I know very little people who runs such a system. So you're pretty much on your own.

Hrmm, interesting.

I just remember the maxim that when w/c'ing your loop is only as good as the weakest part of the loop.

But I guess its all apples and pears :D

Nice, wanted to try watercooling but its pricey aint it?

Not really. A single loop cpu can be done for £130 which will have top notch components in it.

For £150-£170 you can have the best of the best.

Buying kits 2nd hand from MM or fleabay can cost you under £100 even for high end stuff.

For example I got a mixture of 2nd and new stuff as follows:

120.2 swiftech rad
4 x xilence 120mm fans
3m of tygon tubing
1 litre of feser
Swiftech Laing D5 variable pump
Swiftech micro res
Swiftech external rad mount
Danger Den TDX cpu block with nozzle 1 (weakest link in my watercooled rig tbh but came in a kit with lots of other stuff like the D5 for £60)
D-Tek Fuzion gpu block

Total cost inc postage was £115.00

quality mate! makes mine look like a kid done it :-)

the cosmos case is great for putting the radiator away in the top, my 900 requires external mounting and therefore looks half as good.

have you been able to overclock the cpu and graphics further by any chance?
