I was wondering if those of you who are married/living with a partner still have the odd meeting with pamela handerson.

Random i know.

According to...?

Genetics.

Men are designed to spread seed as much as possible.

Yes there are exceptions to the rule, especially given modern day society, but on a physical level, guys (especially the younger ones) can have the urge to crack one out multiple times a day. Heck, if we don't, our bodies eventually sort it out themselves with wet dreams.

Plus, on a relationship level, once you live with a person, it's very easy for the spark to die down, and the sex to become less frequent.

Sex drive between men and women can't directly be compared... our bodies are wired differently. However i would say that womens sex drive is no less powerful than that of a mans... they're just better at controlling it due to not having to "spread the seed" as you put it.

Here's a good article on it http://www.aphroditewomenshealth.com/news/low_libido.shtml

I know, but look at it this way.

Guys with regular women, how many times has she not been in the mood?

Right, now how many times have you not been in the mood? ;)

this man speaketh the truth (actually, mine is usually in the mood when I'm stuck at work... I've told her to let me know so I can go home for "lunch")

Also, to answer the question:

this:

yep, every now and then, and i know she does as well

Is it not always when you’ve just started an intimate relationship, then blokes tend not to need to choke the chicken, as you seem to go at it like rabbits anyhow, there go foregoing the urges needed to satisfy yourself. Once the honeymoon period starts to die down, then yep blokes will erm, exercise without the love of their life present…. Lol

It makes you sleepy anyhow, although nothing betters mid sleep sex…… If your partner doesn’t mind it when you’ve got a nocturnal boner, then that’s the time to strike, as you can forgot about needing self stimulation for a few days after spontaneous night-time nucky..

Its when you wake up in the morning and need a pee it can kinda sting a little if you've still got a boner. I’ve read that if you don’t self stimulate whilst single, the muscles around the area relax and blood flow isn’t as good, meaning it can perhaps lead to erection problems later in life..????? Gawd knows where I read that, and I’m at work, so fat chance of me searching the article…. lol
