There sure seems to be a lot of people on these forums with relationship problems, cheating girlfriends, lonely singles, unhappy employees, etc etc. It leaves one question, are we part of a trend, are computers to blame for the bad luck ?!

No seriously though, I think a sub forum should be made for such threads. Solely for people who want advice or to give advice. There popping up everywhere here now !

People can't rely on their own choices. They need to have some kind of backing and where better to get it from then a bunch of people you don't know.

Bad luck and relationship problems have always been there its just they're made way more public thanks to be able to post anonymously on a place like this.

Also this is a computer forum....

No computers are not to blame. People make rash, ill-informed quick decisions that they later regret. 'Tis as sign of youth mostly.

You make your be you get to lay in it as they say...

Nobody or nothing to blame but the individuals involved.

I'm happily married and neither of us would even consider cheating.
I'm pretty happy in my work, I'm well paid for the work I do and although I don't feel quite so much for my company as I did a few years ago I'm not actively looking to move on.
We have a mortgage and owe around £95k on a house worth around £140k which means even if the absolute worst predicitions were to come true we'd still have positive equity on our house.

It's all about making the right decisions, talking to your partner if things aren't going right etc.
 
There is more pressure than ever to aspire and "be someone" rather than being yourself.

A lot of people are convinced they are missing out on something or that the grass is greener. Settling for what you have and just enjoying it is seen as some kind of weakness these days. The pressure is on to move up, get more and do better for yourself.....but is that really what makes you happy.

How can two people work a successful relationship if one or both of them is thinking in this way. "Your not boosting my ego anymore, it's time to move on"

Basically most people have forgotten the art of being happy and content.
 
i agree, they are EVERYWHERE - but they are good.

Once in a situation u tend to overreact/read into things and not think rationally, posting on here for advice generally makes u see your overreactions and gives you a variety of views from loaaads of different people.

keep them coming i say!
