Guess my new car

Yeah they made that to fill in the gap between the Boxster and the 911. Dunno what the standard of interior is like on a boxster?

Wouldn't say no to one though and and I do love the arse on those. :)

They toned down the Cayman S so it wouldn't hurt sales of its bigger brother. I remember seeing one reviewer say that the chassis could handle much more power and its a shame they toned it down.

Either way i wouldn't grumble if i had any of these :)

the pictures dont show just how plasticy the interior is
Now it does

Looks identical to my girlfriends boxster. Agreed the interior is not what i would expect from porsche :(

I think the blue interior colour does it no favours. My father has one, he specced it massively including the Boxster Aerokit and only got it to £56K so god knows how they got it to £58K as the Aerokit is about £3K I think! In black the interior is fine if you ask me.

Imagine one of these with the next GT3 engine (450 BHP) and LSD, some serious weight reduction and RS bits. I have said it before but I don't think you would find a better sports car anywhere in the world if they did that. Mind you, I HATE tiptronic with a passion, but seems to be the done thing around town.

dunno about the value, I had to get a cover note from my insurers and thats the value porsche gave me :)

p1 got sold ages ago, kinda miss it, saw one today and i smiled :)

Will, that looks an awesome car.

Been thinking of giving up road biking and getting a performance car and the Cayman is on my list.

Enough with the interior pics, how does it drive, performance wise?.

Not interested in v/max, more interested in how it handles through the twisty bits.

Had a Cayman stuck to my Mille's backside a few days ago on some twisty bits and he gave a good account of himself, although I wasn't really trying that much, more having a "play" with him.
