Bought 3 films

Mr Brooks is great.

Deliverence is a bit meh.

Ratatouille is good if you are in the mood for some animation.

Deliverance is the sort of film you enjoy talking about/quoting opposed to really enjoying it at the time of viewing.

"Squel piggy!"

Interesting choice, just dont confuse showing Ratatouille and Deliverance to a young audience :)

ratatatouiioulle is a happy happy movie, and really should be seen on bu-ray.

Deliverance is abit meh, thought i would like it more as im a big fan of films from back then.

Mr brooks. best mate went on and on about it but haven't seen it yet.

Rather than making a new thread, I bought 6 DVDs the other day, of which I haven't seen.

The Departed
Donnie Brasco

What are the opinions of these?

I thought The Departed was superb and Donnie Brasco isn't too bad either.

The Departed is awful. It's one of only 2 films I've ever walked out of. The other being Anchorman. I do not understand why this film is so raved about, when it's quite possibly THE worst remake of any asian film.

Donnie Brasco is good though.

Shame, you no doubt missed the scene near the end where Leonardo De Caprio and Mark Whalberg accidentally stumble into a downtown gay bar and end up salsa dancing for $10 notes.
