I should go have a search but thought i would come here first for some quick feedback.

1. If i buy a wii can i use a normal Controller ?

2. Do i have to buy one or does it come with one ? if it comes with one is it rubbish ? if so which Controller to buy ?

ps. I fancy some of the games on said system but do not want to wave my arms about like some nut no offence but im to old for that.

many thx jay.

For certain games, yes.

Comes with what? It comes with a wiimote and nunchuck.

Then you want RE4, Smash Bros, Zelda Twilight Princess and Mario Galaxy.

you can buy a classic controller for it, it's about £15 but it means you don't have to wave your hands like a nut :D

ok thx i see also i can play gamecube stuff but will need gamecube controller and gamecube memcard is this correct ?

thx jay.

If you enjoy platformers, Starfox adventures was a gem. a lot of decent cube games that, one feature certainly to look into.

Their was also a Metal Gear remake for the cube, still think it goes for £20.

I have a classic controller, and while being closely modelled on the Snes pad (By the looks of things) I generally prefer using the GC pad

EDIT: You'll also want Zelda: Wind Waker on GC

To be honest from a gamers point of view the Gamecube was better than the Wii. From a marketing point of view the Wii is better. I bought the Wii because I loved the Gamecube and the new innovating controls that were been spoken about were really exciting.

After buying it I got bored after a couple of weeks and wished I hadn't wasted my money. I think the reason I prefer the 360 now is the same reason I preferred Sega over Nintendo in past generations.

If you can tell me a place i can get a it for £20 i'd be so happy.
Cant seem to get it for less than £40-50 atm.

Highstreet stores mate, they have it at my local it is quite a rare game.

Just keep popping in and checking. (after one myself :<)

Project No.3

Seriously? I agree with your other recommendations but PN03 was a let down.

I played Mario Kart on the Wii and thought it was fantastic, was a big fan of MK on the GC too. Eternal Darkness is excellent too but very weird and creepy!
