OMG!

Numbers like this boggle the mind. Zimbabwe are suffering inflation in the millions of %, and currently £1 is worth 28bn Zimbabwe dollars!

Currently 1 ZWD = 0.00000000003516 GBP!

(these were taken from xe.com at 00:24 on Friday 4th, so will probubly be considerably different it you try again, as its changing that fast!)

My mum has a zimbabwean friend whose family didn't trust the banks (they were very well off) so they buried their money in chests in the garden.

Now they are poor because obviously the inflation means their notes are worth nothing now.
