Wall-E reviews look promising!

Getting into the top ten of the imdb top 250 is an impressive feat. Will be seeing this one ASAP.

the RT 'top critics' is what i'm more impressed by

but yeah, 17000 imdb votes and still being in above 9 is mega impressive!

deffo one for the cinema

Definitely going to see this. Judging by the imdb feedback it might just be better than Toy Story which is saying something.

If you're fat and get offended easily - don't watch it.

People in the US have been walking *waddling in most cases* out of the cinemas. :D

Am I the only person who takes IMDB ratings for new films with a massive pinch of salt? Don't get me wrong, i'm sure this is well worth seeing but it seems like in the first week of a release a film always has an 8.something rating. If you compare that to films that are more than 10-20 years old it's ridiculous.

usually yes, ie Transformers, it's not a bad film, should be a 7.2 ish (was 8.x for ages)

but on rotten tomatoes, the top critics have given it 97% ish, they're usually quite harsh..

Saw it today. First half was absolutely brilliant - second half was very average. They also needed to trim 10-15 mins off the running time. Probably my favorite Pixar movie since Monsters Inc.

Doesn't really sound like it deserves #20 film on IMDB :p I look forward to seeing it though.
