Hey all,

Finally got some money so buying a new build:

Going in a Antec P182, and a TRUE.
Hoping to overclock the nuts of this thing so is this the best choice of components?

Now, do i add:

....choices... Since the prices are so similar, I was wondering if it was worth having 2 4850s now or and just have 1 4870 now with the possibility of having another down the line? What performance gains could i see in Crossfire? and how many games does it work in now? Plus would the mobo/psu be O.K. with crossfire?

Will be buying a 24" screen with this, currently looking at the selection on offer.

Thanks very much through my hour of need! :D

as for crossfire you get 16x16 with the P5E....i have 2 x 4850s in xfire on that board and its awesome....dont know what the 4870 is like but its getting a lot of good press from people....maybe get 1x4870 now and get another later if you have the money

defo get a X38 or X48 board, it depends if your accually intending to upgrade soonish get a 4870. If you dont think you will upgrade for over a year or so get 2x4850. Its a tough call ether way.

changed the board to an x48 (would like the eSata port compared to a x38) and decided to go crossfire! Was tempted by the upcoming 4870x2 but figure that 2 of the 4850s wont be too far behind, for less cost :)

Unless one of you guys spots something that should be changed, I'll order later today (or tomorrow).

Ta!
