Well that's another classic British circuit ruined

I heard this on the news earlier, great news if you ask me! Its within 20 mins on a good day! I heard millions of pounds will be spent to make it accommodate the race and its about time too! A great track with next to no seating area, all positive for meBring on 2010!
All those calling ot 'Brands Hatch!'
Pffft. Get real. BH don't want the GP after what they were told they would have to do to get it.

I cant see this as anything more than Bernie throwing his toys out of his pram. Just because Silverstone wont bend over to every demand he has the spiteful little tart goes and does this. Silverstone have made a lot of changes and its easily the best place to have the F1 in Britain. I cant see this deal doing much good for Donington either, but that is just cynicism.
Any sport that can afford to pay a person 1 million a race should not get any government money.

Liverpool are looking to build a new football stadium, should the government contribute there as well.
because to make awesome places which are world class are general out of the price range of private companys. Thankfully we got the Olympics hopefully these facilities will be kept up together after the event.[TW]Fox;12028012 said:Why should the government contribute towards athletics?
