Diablo 2 worth a play?

Ive been playing for weeks now on the standard non expansion version, Graphiccs havent bothered me at all. They do look poo, but i love the game too much
 
I am going on now for a little bit, gonna create myself a new barb if anyone wants to join in.

my cd's are fubar - so i downloaded from the Blizzard (free if you register your key) and when trying to install it asks me for a 24 digit key xxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxxx-xxxx however the key on the front of my Diablo 2 box is 16 digit xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

When you register the game on the Blizzard site, there will be an option below the title of the game (Diablo II in this case) to "View Game Key". That is the 24 digit one you use.

Never played the Diablo series, but i love the gameplay mechanics that are in the games. I have played games alike and really like the new trailer. Shall i try Diablo II out?

difficult question to answer, theres a few options with Barb builds, usually revolving around frenzy or whirlwind as the main damage dealer. Frenzy obviously requires dual wielding (my current level 30 barb is a pure frenzy-er with a few war cries to back it up) Whirlwind is either weapon and shield or a two handed weapon, while its a great build it requires careful mana management. The final popular build is the iron barb. This revolves around trying to be as hard to kill as possible and usually involves weapon and shield an the concentrate skill as your main attack. I wouldn't advise this build though as its deathly boring to play and takes a long time to take down groups of monsters.
 
Does anyone here have the original version of Diablo, shipped in one of the old-fashioned cardboard boxes PC games used to come in? I'm trying to find my CD key but can't find it anywhere on any of the manuals or things that came in the box (that I can find). Can anyone tell me where it should be?

mine is on a sticky label on the first CD jewel case with disc 1 in. 16 digit code. :)

Got it from NM Andy. Got the belt from Hell Meph. Hammer dmg has gone up by 2k now :D

Traded for a low CTA as well yesterday so my health has doubled with it.
