New tyres needed, want to avoid BMW's price tag...

Hunt around online would be the best advice.

Plenty of decent tyre places to get prices from, then pop into a local place and see what they can offer.

Yeah, fronts I checked out too at 225/40 i think, but they still have plenty of tread on them so they're fine (for another lap or two :D )

Also, blackcircles comes up at 215 per tyre so 350 cheaper over a complete set of 4 than BMW, although about 150 quid more expensive than e-auction-site-ing a set of alloys + tyres and selling on the alloys sans tyres... but all that hassle for 150 quid saving (plus partially worn tyres, in most auctions) it's not worth it, so internets (or local place) it is!
