just got back from a week up north and checked for the update around 7 last night, I was told my console was up to date :/

Still on 2.36 and no update available.

It got pulled because it was giving some negative effects to some consoles.
 
Ive had no problems at all so far.

Turned off my PS3 like 10 mins ago, I thought it went off but I just looked at it now and the controller was on and the green light on the console was just flashing and there was nothing on the screen. Turned it off at the back, but seems to be working normally again now and it turned off fine.

I managed to get the firmware, anyone know which games have trophy, i went through my games, didnt see the trophy

Only SuperStardust HD, so far, the game will prompt you to download a 255MB update when you next boot it up.

Has anyone elses profile picture been replaced with a square face?
It appears as what it should be if i view my profile, but on the bit that shows all your friends, where it used to show my pic, it now shows a square face?
 
It's an excellent two stick shooter, very addictive (which is probably why I haven't actually played it more, as I know I would waste hours on it).
 
Surely it doesn't take this long to fix a few problems:confused:

I've been problem-free so far (touch wood), but it doesn't seem like anything THAT major to take this long to get fixed.
 
I think I'll give it a go then :D, i used to enjoy playing asteroids on my C64 and this looks pretty similar.
 
I am definitely getting more of the memory over flow errors when shutting down. Know the double beep and the console restarts?
 
Im getting signed out a lot, but I think its the router as my internet is going down as well, was just mid CoD4 as host.
