Conspiracy Files: The Third Tower

Conspiracy theorists should spend more time explaining why the government/illuminati/lizards should do something like this. From what i understand the idea is that building 7 is where the whole thing was planned, be it planes not really going into the WTC towers or a missile going into a pentagon, and they destroyed it to cover it up. Aren't there better ways of getting rid of evidence than that?

When steel is heated it loses some degree of its strength. It doesn't have to melt in order to become too weak to support the load, especially when an extremely heavy object has been rammed into it at extremely high speed.

Steel loses 50%~ of its strength at 1100°F

Jet fuel burns at up to 1500°F

You are very much correct :)

ohh he can swear...

Now if he could offer some evidence he might not look like an idiot. But still he's now a millionaire for making a 20min internet film.

Like the guy just said, most people think governments can't run the proverbial pee up in a brewery yet they are capable of something on this scale!!!!

You have all these conspiracy theorists saying "look at the way the towers fell" etc but when was the last time two airliners brimming with fuel crashed into two of the worlds tallest buildings?

What are they comparing it against, because controlled demolitions look simialr then it has to be that over the fact the two planes were clearly seen ploughing into the towers.

i think that comic strip someone posted earlier pretty much wraps it up. That goverment dude was also true in what he says, the government are too crap to do any kind of cover up especially in a day where billions of people are watching it live.

And then of course there is the fact that the intelligence services in America completely missed the planned attack.

Are these conspiracy theorists still knocking around?

I thought they all went and crawled back under their rocks the first time they were made to look like silly petulant schoolchildren with over-active imaginations.

Fair enough, I'm not arguing that. But what about the 90 floors below which aren't damaged or on fire? That still retain their strength and integrity, are designed for stresses way over what they're likely to encounter, and are highly likely to slow the progress of any collapse from above?

When one of the towers started to collapse, it started to collapse naturally. The top went for the path of least resistance and tilted over to one side. Then all of a sudden, every floor went down in a domino effect at almost freefall speed, which is so unlikely to happen its laughable, and the tilted top went down with it.

I have a question for the saps who choose to believe the dross quoted above.

Where's the "in-depth" conspiracy theories for Madrid, London, Bali, Frankfurt?

*edit* - just had a thought, most of you are probably thinking... 'Frankfurt..???'

How soon you forget. Do some sensible reading and come to your senses, please.

They are not designed for the stresses of 20 floors falling on top of them..

Go read that pdf file I linked to earlier. It's long but untill then I will laugh at you..

Well the top steel supports were seriously weakened by the fire, probably around 25% of their original strength, and with the impact also taking away structual integrity; one floor eventually broke away and fell downward, onto another weakened floor...which itself collapsed... see what's happening here? It IS a domino effect.
