Please answer this FrankJH - even though Djemba Djemba cost a few million in comparison. Veron was poor but he wasn't as bad as Djemba Djemba yet you labeled him as a key player.

Are these the same 'people' that agreed with you over keepers staying on their line? No wonder you're so clueless with mates as dumb as that. There's nothing illogical in it at all, it's a pretty common term and with a bit of quick searching you would find plenty of examples of the term being used in the correct context. I'm guessing you won't find any examples of it being used to describe players who do little more than make the team sheet every week.

And there's 'all of about 4' because most people have the sense not to waste their time with you. Unfortunately I struggle to let it go when someone talks such garbage and at the same time tries to make out I'm the one talking nonsense.

In Franks world just being picked is enough to qualify, I think. Not really sure what angle he's coming from tbh.

Veron was a FLOP, everybody knows it and u can't back him up just because u want a few browny points, or just want to get ONE over another poster. For 33 million he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to prove his value.

Who are Carson and Pennant being sold to? Fairly obviously Liverpool will get a striker, probably Villa. Just depends if other clubs come in and start a bidding war though.

You wont get Villa. He issued a statement that he wont leave Valencia unless Valencia decide to sell him, and then he will only leave to join Madrid.

It is also believed that Madrid are going to turn to him now that it is unlikely they will get Ronaldo.

Last I heard from Liverpool fans here is that Milner is your preferred wideman signing.
 
Nay, there hasn't been any word on Keane since Spurs denied he had put in a transfer request.

I doubt we'll get Keane. I think there's more chance of getting Villa personally, although that's unlikely too.

Anyone know when the transfer window closes?

The Keane deal was always a non starter.

As for the transfer window, it closes on 31st August at midnight.
 
R.Madrid are so lucky, all the best players want to go to them even though all they can win is la liga and fail to get past the qtr stages of the CL.
 
Its the history tbh, if the english clubs keep dominating for a few more years the tide will start to change, though our weather/culture is **** compared to spanish in most player's eyes.

Id hate to see us buy Milner...
 
History keeps the players going there. But it cant go on forever if they dont win the big trophies.

Whats this about Arsene saying Arsenal are a selling club? Does he want to invite people to pick up his best players at the end of each season?

And as stated already...where would you prefer to play. Somewhere where it can rain, hail, snow and be cold or nice sunny spain or italy?

Only the true fans would stay in England. Maybe global warming will help lol
