I want to start playing online Poker.

Be very careful with online poker, it's easy to lose on one table and jump onto another, spending money like a mad-man.

Personally, I prefer to go down the local Rileys for a face to face game. Much more enjoyable, and harder to spend all your money in one sitting :p
 
I am looking into getting into online poker too...

Are there any sites where you can like have a game with people and you have a buy-in of like £10 and everyone gets the same amount of chips and you play till you loose all your chips?

yes most sites offer cash games, Sit and go's 6-10 seaters, or multi table tournaments of upto 2000 players, for stakes as low as £1 - £500,

ive played on william hill, titan poker, poker stars, ladbrooks, full tilt and pkr, and william seems to be the best good mix of tight and loose players, where as the others except for titan are very tight and its slow to win a lot.
 
Texas Hold'em 5 card? Not too sure what you mean?

Texas Hold'em = 2 cards, then 5 community cards.

Any site will let you play using "play money", if you do play wit hreal money, you don't need a new bank account or any thing. but start on the low stakes.
 
Maybe try pokermillion its where I started a few years back...mainly British people on there I found.....bit more user friendly for a beginner?

I never said it was good for a beginner, just stated that Americans play there.:p

Betfred are good for small stakes sit and go's. Play from as little as 10c iirc.

Depends what type of games you want to play. You have two games really, cash and tournaments.

Cash can start from 0.01 and 0.02 (small and big blinds) and tournaments low buy in. Virgin do £3 tournaments which, party poker also do low stakes.
 
Just don't play against French/Germans/Swedes online. They're so incredibly lucky and unskilled it's horrible stuff.
 
I'm gonna knock my Dad's 'tache off.

The cheeky bugger's been on my PokerStars account and lost $50! Took me 2 hours to win that :(
