i was running @ 3.8 until this morning when i set everything to default as temps were an issue.that benchmark is genuine.

You should contact some review sites - they would be most interested to know how your near-stock 4850 is beating every 4870 and GTX280 score around.

If you mean my results then pass! I have Aero enabled + have not tweaked Vista by disabling any services so perhaps that accounts for a few % difference as Crysis is probably optimised for DX9 + XP. You have also overclocked your card a little so that would account for a little more plus I have all the ATI quality settings @ max. CPU speed makes very little difference neither does number of cores as most of that Crysis test is all GPU based. Then I have 4Gb Ram which is always slower in benchmarks and my Ram is only DDR667 not 800 so the timings are worse as well.how can i be getting 10+ more fps than you when my cpu is going at 2.4 still?

Maybe cos Minxyyy is running crysis under XP so scores are higher and its under DX9 mode ?
