Newsnight had a report on Africa and India where people are now strving due to increase in food costs.

This is being caused by very high inflation (food and oil). We are only at the beginning of the recession and commodities could still get much more expensive.

Could this be the global event that caps population at 6.5 Billion?

A documentary on Four suggested that the world can only support 2 billion people.

I thought i was the only one that noticed that folks in bongobongo land breed like flies, then bitch when most of theirs kids die due to poor health related to lack of food. Here's an idea, try feeding one sprog not twelve.

If you look just at this country, people who are intelligent tend to have less kids because they plan and think... Meanwhile the numpies and chavs breed away, not give two-hoots, and the state picks up the bill for them...

The scary thing is the numpies and chavs are out-breeding us... And we're subsidising it!

There are plenty of reasons they do that, even with sufficient food a decent number will die of ill health, more children equals more hands to help out once they have grown beyond the age of 12 (which gives parents security in old age). Most people did this, that we don't today is due to lower infant mortality in the developed world...

Applied to chavs tho, yes...
 
One of the reasons that people in these countries have so many kids is because there is a much higher chance that their children will die. Also given that the only people who will look after you in your older age are your kids it helps to spread the burden.

Larger families also have tend to be able to get more income so they are better able to support thmselves as a whole.

I guess access to contraception also plays a key role.

Many don't know any better due to lack of eduacation either.

It's crappy, but they are facts, so it's no good bitching about it from you're never know really suffering ivory tower.

question is mate..why do they do it when they come here too? Got an answer for that?
