Now a fully paid member of the hairdress club! (new car)

Ex mx-5 mk2 facelift owner here and was forced to sell because I have to move house. Awesome car, if I had my way I'd still have it.

heh, ditto :) although i'm slowly getting towards buying another one soon...

don't know how people get their GFs to pack light enough for 3 weeks in a mrk1 though  we had a bloody boot rack on my mrk2 and still only just had enough space for a week!

Just love the 5 - always happy to see lots of other owners on here. Sure, they aren't as a brand new corsa, but let the 'tards buy them, we'll get the fun cars.

That all said, my Mk1 MR2 is a more rewarding and more comfortable drive, and more economical, though I haven't had chance to rag the backside off our motor I have had chance to track mattpc's car and to nurburgring the MR2. It i such a shame the Mk1 MR2 wasn't soft top :( I will have to go for hoon in the wife car when I have it next week....

Can we all come together and form an mx-5 salon at the next meet? :D

I think so!

Mind you sod's law says that once I buy mine in August time, that'll be the end of nice weather and it'll be constantly raining! All the more time to practise catching the rear end, then!

I will be running mine as a second car, keeping my Honda for commuting/longer distance trips so it doesn't matter if it's off the road for a week for upgrades/whatever :)
