Just got an Xbox 360...

Just went and bought a Xbox 360 Elite.

I bought GTA 4 with it for £35 and I wish I had picked up Halo 3 now as tbh it's rubbish, but I should have known that.

Gotta buy the wireless adapter too before I can go online with it!

What games should be on my list to get ASAP? I was thinking of:

1) COD4
2) Halo 3

Not sure what else is going to be any good

Should have gotten the Pro as opposed to the Elite really, unless you REALLY wanted black.

Halo3 is okay, not as great as the first for example.
Call of Duty 4 is fantastic.

Skate for sure.
Gears of War if your into FPS games.

If you like football pick up FIFA 08 and UEFA Euro 08.

Euro 08 might be finished, but the style of gameplay gives a better idea of what to expect from FIFA 09.

Mass Effect is very good.

Rock Band if you've got a lot of spare cash to get the full instrument kit.

They didn't have any Pro's in stock and I wanted it today

Plus I got it for £228 so I didn't think it was 'Too' bad. Cheers for that games list though.

Has anyone connected there 360 to there Mac and got Live working? Had a read of a few guides but they seem confusing..

It beggers belife that the wireless adapter isnt included, even in the elite! Charging £50 for it is just appauling!

Aye, i was stuck for choice between the PS3 and the 360, but now looking back after you have the main peripherals the PS3 works out about the same.

It would have then, i didn't include the HD DVD addon though as the format war was on. So basically the Blu Ray drive was just a bonus. Seems a real bargain now compared to other consoles.

Still bit too pricey now considering MS are price cutting.

Yeah, i know the HD DVD drive is now useless, but in a strickly pricing comparison, to get a Console, High Def drive, wifi, and decent HDD you either bought a PS3, or a 360 and £200 of accessories.

If we ever see a BluRay drove for the 360, this argument will still stand.

It's a good bit of kit though and supports Wireless A which is great for video.
You could use a wireless bridge though if you'd done a little research.

Wireless bridges cost roughly the same, It should be included to be fair as its a necessity in this generation of consoles. I have to connect my laptop up whenever i go online. Though now gold has run out dont think i will renew anytime soon.
