B Grade stock ...

Just had to request a refund on an order as I'm guessing someone beat me to the submit order button by seconds.

Would've been quite a deal otherwise

Just goes to show that quite often really good deals can be had in B Grade.

you gotta love how vat and delivery bring a 14p mobo up to nearly a tenner huh =) How is 17.5% of 12p £1.42?

you don't it's on packing.

Packing is a service.

I think the govt requests that vat is charged on Postage and package if they are lumped together.

Mobo arrived this morning ... it was me who ordered that MSI Diamond Mul =)

Seems to be ok. No accessories or anything (not that I was expecting them) and i'll try and just check it works with a PSU later today.

Gah I wanted to test it worked with a PSU I had but it's only a 20 pin mobo connection and the MSI mobo is a 24 pin >< Last thing I want to do is end up having to RMA everything because the board is broken :(

It seems fine, the board, no blemishes or anything (til i looked a bit closer).. anything I can look for to see if it's broken? Will anything be visible? Will OCUK have a record if it's been tested or not?

It's not postage, it's city link, on which VAT is charged, if it was Royal Fail, then they don't charge VAT/

You can buy a 20-24 pin adaptor cable. OcUK don't have any and hotlinking is against the rules so you'll have to do your own search. They're only a few quid.

12p for a mobo?

mitch212k I can't see anything wrong with it on those pics...

Ok cool manu. And yeah it was 12p but delivery etc. brought it up to £9.50 =) Just the copper on the heatpipes probably covers way more than 12p ;)

I managed to hook it up to a PSU and without connecting front panel switches an LED lit up near the CMOS. Seems like a good enough indication it's ok?

Could you guys also give me some suggestions as to heatsinks also?

^^Roughly.

I was going F7P but looking at the dimensions of the heatpipes and the Freezer doesn't seem there's enough room :/

Try your 20 Pin connection, as most 24 Pin boards will also work with just a 20 Pin, and aint 24 Pin adapters about as much use as choccy fireguards, as how can you get 24 Pin's out of 20.:p

Yeah, the 20pin should work fine, check the manual online, it may have a section telling you about it. (Think I had an old DFI with a similar section)
