I got a quick question i start a new job on monday it just some holiday work i am a student at the moment do i need to fill in Student Employees Income Tax before or after i finish work there?

GF did it before she got her job just now. It stops them taking tax from you as you predict that you wont earn over the threshold.

Yes fill in the P38(s) aslong as you won't earn over £5435

I dont think anyone has suggested otherwise, everyone earning pays tax, why would anyone suggest that students be exempt? :confused:
