Agreed, just because someone who has relatives from the same continent was taken by other black men and sold as a slave 300 years ago gives them every right get away with racist abuse. Thinking anything different makes you even more racist than the white slave traders.

I don't see how this has anything to do with it? We (the British) abolished our slave trade in 1833. Note how that was 175 years ago.

Persecutions of the past do not mean that the roles should be reversed in the present.

To be honest the police probably booked the guy because they felt like it. Some policeman are thugs and like to abuse their power, this being a good example.

They did, he was charged with and admitted

one count of using threatening, abusive or insulting words of behaviour which was racially aggravated, and one count of attempted theft of a bicycle.

So it's not just the racist abuse he went to court with, it trying to steal a bike aswell.

Seems fair enough to me

What exactly is the meaning of honkey ?

The N word is considered an insult to african americans because it was a term used to describe african slaves and well slavery in the civilised world is pretty much none existant.
