Clio 172, any good?

St24, 176bhp and a big car,
Clio 172 bhp and a small car.

the insurance company wont even touch me with the clio yet i can insure a barge with a massive v6 in it. do you get the point i was making now?

The Clio is considerably faster and is also more powerful - an ST24 is 167bhp.

Nice looking nova, I would change the wheels though. But imo a turbo'd nova without speedline alesios on it is just wrong.

Im looking at the 182, should be a thread by myself only a few pages back with some clio discussion. Not sure about the price of a 172 in comparison as I was looking exclusively at the 182's :)

its my only car and has been for 3 years now, rain or shine :D

what made my mind up was at work when someone parked next to my space in a silver clio, and I thought if I had bought a silver 172 i'd be hard pushed to tell them apart and to me thats just not cricket. People stare at me open mouthed on occasion, I can be driving past a shop window and catch sight of my big yellow reflection and it makes me laugh. Plus theres always someone that wants to have a mini race, they normally give a thumbs up, unless its some uptight scooby driver like the other day.

speedline alesios
just like everyone else!? your not getting my way of thinking yet! :p

Looks good.

I still think the wheels look a bit 'Pimp My Ride', but there's obviously no convincing you otherwise! Those front brakes look pretty beefy too, what are they from?

Yeh i loved my grey one, just rotted away, still any excuse for a pic!

Brakes on the yellow one are from a V6 cavalier, think they are 288mm, they are very good.
