Diablo 2 worth a play?

After much debating i think i am going to create a new Sorceress, though havent decided on what element. When i completed it last time i had a Fire/Ice one, so may go for a Ice/Lightning jobbie (tried a Fire Lightning and it was useless).

Starting now if anyone wants to join. BTW which ladder should i go to, i normally play Europe, but may go for East US if that is better.

No definately dont start single player

Ill play alongside you if you want on Europe Bnet. Ladder character.

All characters have their advantages. Frozen orb sorcs and hammerdins are popular :)
 
Im installing now and will be online shortly (well 30 mins - damn its slow)

Are druids still maddening to play with, only played single player but having lots of pets was fun, even if it did kill everything in front of me...

create a game called Ocuk with the pass of Ocuk. then we can join up

Because I lost half the CD's a long, long time ago so downloaded it through usenet. Which is frustrating, because I actually have 1 of the original jewel case nd the expansion one, but no CD's :D
 
you can make a blizzard account and download the client... then install them using your legit CD keys... with no problems
 
BH gets better once you start to get used to how to use it, took me a while to get into the flow of it. Its not as quick and easy as frozen orb sorc, but its damn good considering in hell i think there are only 2 mobs that are immune

Damn spammadins spoiling the game..... :D

I might try to make a hammadin, got a lvl 19 amazon (then realised that lightning would be useless in hell) so i made a orb sorc (cookiecut) whos now 50ish. The problem is that i get bored of casting characters quite quickly and barbs..etc need good items or they'll get raped :(
 
Hammadin has got to be the earliest peaking class I've played so far, even at 18 heis BH does well and his pool is a hell of a lot better than a sorcs.

I really want to get my LF/Physical Bow Zon up to speed as she still feels gimp at 31, plus she's non-ladder :(.
 
Anyone feel like helping me past Baal on Normal?

I've had no problems so far until I get to him, but then the freezing slows me down and just total screws me over. My Merc has been a great help so far while he dishes out the damage I sit there and take most of it, but Baal's minnions all seem to go for the Merc first so it just basically leaves me there not being able to do anything. So I have to run away, I've tried 5 or 6 times now and can't do anything.

I'm a 34 Concentrator Barbarian, European Gateway.
