Luton Town get 30 point deduction.

tel it to somebody who cares (comment not aimed at OP)

nobody gave a **** when they messed around with leeds. There was negative press flying all over the place and people saying that they deserved it, and rules are rules etc..

But because leeds had an unpopular chairman it was ok to hate leeds. Now its luton everybodys up in arms about it.

This deduction of silly points aint gonna stop. The league made that blatently obvious with the leeds saga.

From Championship too Conference in 4 years

Championship > League 1 > League 2 and not it seems theyll get releagated again!

If they managed to stay up with would be a bigger achievement than Leeds getting to the Play-Offs with a -15 point deduction. Problem is, there squad is poor so I can't seem them doing it at all.

they have to win 10 in a row to get to 0. Crikey!

Very sad - I remember the days when they were in the Old Division 1 with the likes of Brian Stein and Ricky Hill! oh and who can forget Pervy Pleat's dance across the pitch!

Its shocking, the FA is trying to get rid of lower league teams so more money is pumped into the Premiership, its a joke they go on about trying to raise grass roots players then literally force teams to shut down.

Leeds are a city an was always going to do well with the amount of fans they have but luton this is the end.

"2) A 20-point deduction should apply in the 2008-09 season, which also takes into account the fact that this is the club's third insolvency event in the last 10 years."

Erm, cant see any problem with this tbh, they look like they are a blight on the game due to the fact they are not a club that cant keep itself afloat...?

Well that makes me feel better, 2 relegation spots and one is pretty much already taken :p

I have no sympathy for Luton, there are many clubs who play fair and who try (often unsuccessfully) to win on small budgets, letting them off would have been unfair on the clubs who balance their books and suffer the consequences which can be relegation.
