Can you guess?

We've had 3 of these pets in the past but they were grown adults, this one is only 6 weeks old and ready to start training!

We've named it "Pika" because he's a little yellow fella!

Currently sorting his living quarters out so he's still in his transport box...pic incoming later tonight!

He needs to stay in the cage for the first 2-3 weeks so he can become familiar with humans going about their business and also so he can memorise places in the cage for food, water, toys & teething bits etc, he is capable of talking too so should be great down the line :D

At the avery he was the one that stayed far back in the cage, he is the youngest too and just had to have another cockatiel again!

I don't know anything about birds, but after the first 2-3 weeks what do you do with it, let if fly around the house?

Well after this you slowly begin to put your hand in and see how it responds, hopefully it's all settled in and will hop onto your hand. Our last cockatiels were adults when bought so were tame out of the box and flew around, chased people on foot! and generally mimicked many noises they heard and returned to their cages when they were hungry or at night for sleep.

They're quite easy to keep and the food they eat is pretty simple and cheap too though they can eat human foods too as our old ones used to eat bananas and fruits !
