I found a BT Internet Welcome pack/cd earlier from ~1998.
Plan 180: 3 hr internet up to 33k for £4.70 + £2.35 per hour after that!
Not a slow pc but it's a semi-related look back into the past

But I can't be bothered to sign in and post using it, the 320x240 screen is bad for OcUK viewing/usage.

I know mine hates images, I can load about 3 then it cries that it's run out of space...as it has about 3mb free at the best of times...Windows Mobile 6 is great...

Pocket IE uses over 30MB ram to load a regular website, hence crashing unless its a mobile-optimised one. The rest of the OS uses a few mb so its just IE that's the problem...

It's because it's a low powered PDA Phone rather than a dedicated PDA, so it runs strangely. Still, only had it crash about twice over the past 4 months, my previous Nokia N73 crashed every couple of days.
Anyway, that was kind of off topic.

BT are. Was £10-13 a month fixed with a decent isp
Probably not the slowest the I had to revert to my 8 year old Toshiba laptop a few months back. I don't even know the specs of it. All I know is it's horribly slow, and has a great burn mark around the centre of the screen of which the origin evades me.
