Annual Premiership Sack Race

I don't think that was a choice from Ince to start at the bottom. They guy's a complete idiot and tbh im shocked Blackburn even considered him despite how well he's done.

Hodgson I don't particularly rate, and he's made a bunch of signings for Fulham. If they don't come good, he'll have a lot to answer for.

I also reckon Mowbray might be in trouble. Stoke have signed absolutely no-one so far, and I don't think what they currently have will cut it at the level above.

I dont rate hodgson either but i love his interviews and the way he speaks, cracking guy

I reckon Mowbray will be a surprise package and turn out to be a cracking manager for the future

Scolari for me. If he doesn't get off to a blazing start, Roman will get rid of him.

And I just don't see him running away with the Premiership, which seems to be what is expected of a Chelsea manager.

+2

Assuming you mean Pulis, it isnt ever going to happen as Pulis is, infact Peter Coats' love child

Hmm.. I've just tried to dig up a list of the first manager to be sacked in the Premiership each season and I've totally failed?

I've got a feeling that it's not usually promoted teams who sack their manager early on in the season.

I think it might be Benitez this season. He's infamous for starting poorly and I think the turmoil in club ownership might see him leave "by mutual consent".

I'd say all the guys in white are safe, don't see any managerial changes for those teams at all. The guys in orange however I think could be out of a job depending on how well they do before January. The guys in red, no real explanation needed, 3 of them have just been promoted, these new teams always have a habit of getting rid of their manager when the going gets tough, Bolton and Fulham were lucky not to be relegated last season, and I think they both have god awful managers.

My favourite would be Megson at Bolton to get the first boot.

Even though I got him mixed up with Pulis, I don't think Mowbray will go either. He's an ace manager.

Also, Hull won't struggle, so they won't need to sack Brown. :D

Personally I think either Megson or Hodgson will be the first two out of the door, although Curbishley might if he doesnt perform.

I think the three new team managers will be safe, I cannot see them going, with Hull and Stoke I think they realistically expect relegation and dont think they will do a Derby and sack their boss so early on.

Saying that, should Man City and Liverpool have bad seasons I can see changes being made there come the end of the campaign. If City fail to do well then Thaksin may do to Hughes what he did to Sven and if Liverpool fail to deliver once more the board may get cheesed off with Rafa.
