Having recently had a corsair hx520 give up the ghost having run an overclocked system since 17/03/07 would be interested to see which power supplies are lasting these days.

So mine lasted almost 16 months then suddenly gave up, a good power supply for the fact they send you a brand new one if it breaks within 5 years
The only downside is the postage cost though.

I would not recommend corsair power supplies now so much if you can find another one with a 5 year warranty and a cheaper rma solution though as corsairs rma shipping address is in the netherlands and will cost you £25-£30 cheapest postage available to send it there which kind of makes the 5 year warranty a little less attractive, other manu's have a 3-5 year warranty and have a uk shipping address .

Model: Enermax noisetaker 365 lifespan currently 6 years and going strong

Model: Corsair HX520 lifespan 16 months
Case: Akasa Eclipse 62 Top mounted PSU

My Enermax Liberty 620w went the week before Christmas (07) which had been running for 14 months, not constintley though.

I've only had my current Seasonic M12 700W for 2 months, but my previous Seasonic S12 500W is 4 years old and still going strong.

my enermax noisetaker 600w is over three and a half years old. still works ok but i replaced it 2 days ago with a thermaltake toughpower 750w.

FSP sparkle 700W had it for at least 2 years. maybe the best noob purchase i made:p

back then i thought all PSUs were the same and i just wanted the one with the highest power rating

My current Corsair... a few months.

Had an Antec 380w TruePower in my previous system which died when I shorted something together. It was that PSU blowing which made me spend £600 on my current machine

I built a mate of mine a PC about 4 years ago... Athlon XP 2500, Abit NF7-S, 1gb RAM... pretty good spec for the time. He rang me last week telling me that the Enermax 350w PSU had gone pop :( Probably full of dust rather than dying of component failure though.

I'd always recommend OCZ (except elite Xstream). We use scores of these a week and hardly get any back. I've owned two personally for over a year and never had a problem with them.

Currently on an Asus barebones 250w mind, powering 4HDDs and an 8600GT

Had my current Corsair HX620 for 11 months now and no problems so far.:)

The one in my previous rig was an unbranded 600W PSU but that is still fine after 3 years.

I would still recommend corsair power supplies though as the rma is now in uk and the warranty is 5 years.

UK RMA for Corsair is good news, if I have any problems.
