Cut a long story short my 5 year old has just managed to do a buy it now on ebay for a £1600 macbook pro!
I was cooking lunch, the Mrs was outside gardening with my little girl, i was on the pc looking at macbooks on ebay as i am looking to buy one. I went back into the kitchen to get all the food together and dish it out and the little one went into the living room on the pc and when i looked she was on paint, after we all eat i decide to check my emails on my iphone when i recieve an email saying congratulations on winning the auction!!!!
At first i thought maybe my account had been hacked so i instantly changed my password, then after thinking about it i asked my little girl what she had been doing on the computer, she told me she was painting, i then loaded the ebay auction screen up and asked her if she had pressed anything on there, she said yes the red button, i really dont know how she has managed this as ebay ask you to confirm a bid after you have done a buy it now so she must have pressed that aswell.
I have contacted the seller and explained the situation, to be honest i dont expect him to believe it, i wouldnt! hopefully he will understand as i havent even got the money to pay for that kind of macbook pro, i'm only after a £400 macbook!.
Anyone got any advice apart from dont leave yourself logged into ebay?
