The ones that look like big telephone junction boxes but they don't have any obvious doors on them and a kind of snorkel on the top encased in a metal cage? Two have sprung up in the town centre and I wondered what they were for. CCTV maybe?

But with a cage over a 12"-ish snorkel on the top. That's the bit that intrigued me.
