When they say soldier injured this is what they mean...

Poor guy and poor woman. Very noble thing to do marrying him but no matter how much she loves him she will still stray. Very sad indeed.

That's horrible. I remember the slightly more public case of the guy (first name Simon?) who was similarly injured when serving at the Falkland Islands.

What a disgusting thing to say, if she'd wanted to she could have walked while he was in a coma for three months.
Anyone could have their looks altered/damaged by any number of things, doesnt mean you would cheat on your partner because of what he/she looked like. Maybe one day you will fall in love with someone because of the person they are, and not what they look like, and then you will understand.

Hope she sticks around longer than the American girl did when she married the crispy Yank soldier.

But atleast the British girl doesn't look like she's about to throw up in her wedding pics.

The tank driver burned by an RPG hit didn't get much in the way of rehabilitation either, IIRC (if you want to look that up, its in the Telegraph).

And then after a few years, basic instinct will kick in and he'll seek someone more attractive. Yes. Get off your high horse and can the faux rage, lady. He has a valid point.

That soldier is a lucky man, fair play to him. I'd have thought being a military an, he's have worn a pair of trousers that fitted him, though.

He has a valid point.

Sorry but I dont think his point is valid, people who have affairs or run off with other people usually do so because they are no longer getting the things they once were from the relationship (or percieve this to be the case) not because they suddenly dont find them attractive.

And in this case she's married him the way he is now.

there are people out there who are pretty shallow and will eventually want to be with someone they consider good looking
