xp or vista

hi...i have the choice to install windows xp or vista home premium 32bit on my pc used mainly for gaming and the internet...which would be the best to install...cheers.

i go with vista as i prefer it as a OS. But im sure some people will say XP.

Well with that spec, there's no reason not to go with a 64 bit version of Vista

Considering you said Vista 32 and not 64 as some are suggesting, I am having some real issues with Vista and games like many others atm, so would recommend XP for gaming etc.

The dreaded nvlddmkm has stopped responding I have a thread open for it HERE

I realise also that the spec is for an ATI, but I have seen some people having a very similar problem with those as well, though not as common.
