Freefaller, your points are fair, I didn't watch Top Gun until I was about 15 so although I'm in the right age range at mid-twenties it doesn't have the same resonance with me that it probably would if I'd been say 8 when I watched it.

Top Gear rocks. Especially at 3AM in the middle of nowhere.

My only problem with it - Tom Cruise. Can't have it all I guess.

They showed Top Gun in the JJB tent at the V Festival last year, late on the Friday night (For the campers).
It was a great laugh with everyone joining in the Singing / Quoting / Heckling.

It took it to a whole new level of Gay.
