Well this morning, i finally got some inspiration to get my camera out and go for a drive, destination the lake district..... WRONG

Driving down the A66 near me in Middlesbrough, i hear a loud clatter and scrape and quickly indicate to pull onto the hard shoullder to investigate, get out and find the back box of my exhaust had snapped clean off the pipe, wondering what to do and after a quick call to my mechanic mate he said i should try and get it to him at the local ford dealer which is about 3 miles from where this happened, but i wasn't going anywhere with my back box hanging off onto the road. Cue a police car pulls up behind me, gets out and he's straight under my car trying to get the back box loose from the rubber grommet that connects it to the car, he struggled too and called his police mate who was more mechanical minded who came along within a minute or so and got the back box off, really friendly they were and an example of how all police should be, so if you happen to read this police men that helped me, thanks very much for getting your hands dirty for me :)

They actually secretly planted a speed tracking device in your car, I'd take a peek out your window with your curtain slightly ajar to see if they're staking you out :p

Well you could have left your car there and took some arty shots of the transporter.:D

are you strange?

How can you love Teesside, the only thing i like about Teesside is its proximity to the North Yorkshire moors and coastline. There are nice parts but the bad bits far weigh out the good bits stereotypically (South bank / Grangetown / Parkend and Hemlington etc.

Nice story that. Out of interest what car were you in? My reason for asking is I wonder if they were helpful as it looked like a decent car, as apposed to a thing that looks like multiple parts may fall off, where I would expect them to start poking it heh.

Rozzers round here are really cool. I'm mates with 2 aswell and they are cool guys.

1 even copies their dvds of police chases in the area :D

Really weird seeing car chases right next to your home and down the main roads you recognise!
