Hi all,

i havent renewed my passport grr, so it has to be somewhere in the uk, for a week away, anybody got any recommendations, were both 18-20 years old, so quite young!

Anywhere relaxing, but has a nice night life too? things to do, relaxing?

dont want something extremely expensive either too if possible... and definately not london!

Cornwall is nice. Newquay would probably be best if you're looking for a decent nightlife.

Or perhaps get some cheap flights to Dublin? Although I think it is quite expensive there.

if your driving go to Scotland. A great drive up compared to going south.

Glasgow is quite a nice city with good nightlife and a short drive away to some good scenery.

Last time I checked Dublin wasn't in the UK, so he'd need a passport. :p

PK!

You can fly to Dublin without a passport or at least you could just over a year ago. I haven't heard about any changes so I assume it's still possible.

You don't want to go to Dublin though. It's an expensive tourist trap hole.

What a weird coincidence!

Ive got a week off in september and dont know where to go either!! :D awesome.

Myself and my twin sister want to go somewhere too in the UK for our 20th Birthday as we dont like hot weathered places particularly, so looks like Cornwall and Scottyland are the best.

What about Cardiff? Any good?

From a completely biased point of view, Cardiff is awesome since I live there!

The bay is really good if you want to go to a nice restaurant and a classy bar afterwards. The town centre (particulart St. Mary street) gets really busy on Friday/Saturday nights and there are loads of bars and clubs there. St. Mary street gets closed off to traffic so you can fall over in the street and not worry about your head getting run over.

If you get bored, a quick drive up north to Brecon is well worth the trip. Beautiful scenery surrounding a rather quaint little town.
