It was the NES, not the SNES. Plus the NES version was a rather crappy port of the proper MSX version. Lots of things were changed, and without Kojima having any say in it.Burn!
Metal gear made it's name on the SNES, not the PS1. It amuses me how the Playstation generation think all games originated on the PS1 (Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, Street Fighter and Timesplitters springs to mind).
Thanks.
Right, i'm going to step out of this will it/won't it fiasco.
I'll come back and post when i get news of MGS4 appearing on 360. Hopefully never.![]()

360 does not really need it to be honest
has enough better games![]()

Sneaking my boy!!!!!! That is the fundemental of MGS.
That did come in handy (and in MGO for a few kills)
Maybe i am being pedantic but i can't see Kojima betraying Sony even if these problems could be overcome for 360.

Kojima was always a mario fan, thats why he had no problem having MGS1 on the gamecube, even though the remake was a big pile of horse ****.
Thanks.

No, I'm not joking. The remaking doesn't even hold a candle to the original.

I couldn't care less if MGS4 went to the 360. I just don't think Kojima would want to downgrade it to work on that system.
What are you talking about? It's basically EXACTLY the same as the original, just better graphics and some extra gameplay mechanics that were in MGS2.
