Hey guys,

I'm in need of some new rear tyres soon, and ive whittled it down to two:

Eagle F1 Asymmetric
Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta

Both of which Evo gave glowing reviews, and i have the ultrac none sessanta atm on the rear and they seem to be pretty decent, with the sessantas supposedly ten times better!

The fitment is 255/35/18 (not quite sure why i keep hearing the sound of a cash register opening everytime i type them numbers :p)

Utlracs: http://camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m4b758s22p0
F1s http://camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m4b772s22p0

Camskill so far seem to be the cheapest for both of them, can anyone else find them cheaper? Ive still got a mm or two left out of these before the wear marker but im doing the research now :)

Fitting is not important as i can get them done for next to nothing anyway :)

your oil situation sorted now then?

the garage i bought it from are taking it in to look at it in a few weeks as ill be down that way anyway, they suspect it's the valve stems, but they're BMW specialist and are sorting it out so im not too worried :) No other symptoms, no leaks and no smoke

Camskill may not have the Goodyears in stock. I've had a big headache trying to find the same size of Goodyears over the last few days. I rang Camskill yesterday but the guy didn't know if he had any, he was out of the office but didn't sound hopeful. He said to email him but I've had no reply yet.

I've now ordered them elsewhere, from Tyre-shopper, with fitting schedualed for Weds. But whilst the listing said Goodyear GY EAG F1 A/S (which I assume is Assymmetric) the linked page said Eagle F1 GS-D3/ GS-D3 aswell as the original name, yet they have a seperate listing for the GS-D3's...

I ordered them anyway as I'm in desperate need of new front tyres and don't want to stick with Bridgestone run-flats, which means new tyres all round.

Edit: I don't think you'll find them cheaper, unless you ring a competitor and barter them down. I've tried all the websites I could find and couldn't see cheaper.

Have you tried ringing the likes of Kwik Fit and Hi-Q stating that you can get this tyre for this price can they beat it, thats what I did for my eagle f1's!
