On BBC 2 the other evening, there was a programme on where they were cooking Chinese food on the street (Chinese food made easy) http://www.bbc.co.uk/chinesefoodmadeeasy/. One of the recipes was a prawn sweet n sour stir fry; she cooked it on the street, for some builders….

I kinda got the ingredients down but not everything – memory is failing me, and I’d like to try and cook this, as it looked tasty and easy to prepare. Looked on BBC 2 website, found the cooking programme but no recipe… shame, anyone else catch the show, and know the recipe?

Thanks…

Chinese food isn't hard to cook, thats the beauty of it. Annoying when tv shows over-sensationalise things in order to sell.

That said, it's great to see this kind of cuisine get coverage, even if it is under the guise of getting lazy Brits to try something new.

I love that programme :) I watched one the other day where she made healthy sweet and sour pork but thats expired now on BBCiplayer :(

Great recepies though :)

Just watched it on iPlayer... both the duck and the prawn dishs look easy to make, and superb :D

She is pretty hot in a kind of oriental chef kinda way.

Yea but her China Chinese accent mixed in English bugs the nuts out of me. I'm never a fan of mainland Chinese's accent when they speak English. I'm not perfect myself but ARGHH!

Felt like strangling her when she speaks, yet I was learning some of her ideas to put in my recipe book.

She is hot.

She used to do a show on UKGold and was a total babe to watch. But the end of each progamme would annoy me as she would suddenly start talking about cooking for her boyfriend and the last shot is walking over to him plate in hand.

Where can i get a babe like that? :( i guess i have to make a special trip to china!
