Hi guys, booking up to go see Gomez in august.

Never been to the Carling academy in Newcastle before, which would be the better choice between the stalls and the balcony.

Last small venue gig I went to, I was in the stalls but wishing i was in the balcony ( city hall)

Rick.

Stalls obviously - you want to be as close to stage as possible.

the balcony sucks!!!! they put us up there for a pendulum gig, i rightly saw the manager and got our access changed to the main floor, besides the mass of little weenas bumping into you its a far better experiance.

Stalls, you can stand on the raised bit at the back if you dont want to be in the middle of things

Steer clear of the balcony - I'm only repeating what everyone else has said because it's worth saying multiple times to make sure it sinks in!

If I'm going with our lass, then I head for the balcony cos she can't see a thing downstairs cos she's not tall enough.

If I'm with the lads then stalls. Never had a prob being told to sit down upstairs though and it's much easier to go for a toilet if you're upstairs
