But I like AMD and i dont like NVIDIA as a company so BAD NVIDIA

Nvidia have bad support driver wise and have not churned out a success like ATI has this round (so far, pricing continues to fall) but don't forget the 8800GTX, 8800GT and 8800GTS cards than ran the show from November 2006.

Nvidia act lethargic at times but when they get their finger out they can produce some really nice cards. The 8800GTX is the best card I've owned and my friend who bought one on the release day has never been happier with a card in his life and he always buys as soon as they come out (aye, he's loaded). He is really impressed with his 4870s but the 8800GTX card is still a strong performer today. So even though Nvidia have dropped the ball since November 2006, the fact remains that they had the ball for so long in the first place ;).

9600GT only has 64SP's compared to the 8800GT's 112.

But the 9600GT was higher clocked and the PCI-E Freq or something made it even faster, so I guess the reason it was faster in some games was due to the fact that those games where less intensive on the shaders?
