With the money chucked about I would hope Ramos will have something big planned to replace the (potential) outgoing players.. Ive heard he wants to adopt a 4-2-3-1 formation as he had at Sevilla (I believe) and with a big wedge of money in the region of £70m + coming in you would hope he can pull something off :)

Either way if Berbs and Keano stay (which I hope) or go, Im sure Ramos will know what he's doing :)

Would love to see him at Spurs personally... everyone talks about his attitude, but he delivers. He can also cross which none of our players can do
 
Fergie met with ronaldo and quoting from manutd.com:

"The meeting went well - I think we both put across our points of view - where we stand and where the player stands," explained Sir Alex.

"I can say he'll be a Manchester United player next season. That's our stance - he won't be sold."

Great news so long as he doesn't drag his heals. Which I very much doubt if he's looking for a transfer to Real at some point. :)

I wouldn't mind Berb at OT. He could be a lazy mess but then again he could be fantastic. Will certainly be interesting to see how he performs.

He's obviously better. Zidane hasn't scored in ages.

I think it's good he's staying in the league, although I can see the same thing happening next summer and the one after that.

I think United would have fell apart without him, he played a huge part last season. Hopefully this season he isn't as good. ;)

I think nothing could be further from the truth in all honesty.

Everyone said we would fall apart after Robbo, Hughes Ince & Kanchelskis, Le King, Keano, RvN. I concede he scored a hell of a lot of goals and regardless of where he plies his trade next year he won't score as many goals.

That said we have lost goal scoreres in the past and adjusted the personell or style of play to accomodate it.

Plus I don't think Fergie is Naive enough to think he would score as many goals if he stayed

Well for a start United have kept pretty much their own council on this rather than conductiting their business through the press like Madrid. When you cut through the bull, United have said they dont want to sell and for all their noises, self imposed deadlines and public courting of Ronaldo they have at least said the sale is entirely dependant on United.

As per two years ago, Everyone was 100% convinced he was off. As per two years ago, Fergie has had a word and it looks to have done the trick. As it stands he is a United player and he will be expected back at the club

No matter how much people say Madrid are doing this or Ronaldo is doing that. The only people who says he goes is Fergie and the Glazers.

Personally I couldn't give two hoots if stays or goes, how he has conducted himself since the Monday before the Champions League final has been deplorable. But let's get a bit of perspective, nothing shifts newspapers like lies, rumours and more lies as the truth is often very boring. He's still a young lad with lots and lots of people around him all too ready to offer him bad advice too feather their own nest.
 
id love to see berb at united,I don't really pay much attention when he was at tottenham and his lazy spells.He obviously wasn't happy with things at tottenham and i think it will be allot diffrent playing under fergie

Not once did he say he was unhappy, quite the opposite infact.

It's the media that twist every little thing to create a character that they can make stories about.

Just like their abuse towards Ronaldo after the World Cup saga and now he's their little man **** cause he's making their stories for them.

Berbatov is fairly quiet and as he was being talked about with his performances he made himself a target for the tabloid BS.

Villa were going to pay an extra £8m (on top of the £2m already paid) so it's only £4m less. Im pretty sure we'll have some sort of sell-on clause but would have hoped to get closer to £6m for him though.

That's not what i meant. Fergie has came out today and insisted that he's staying and people on here and all the people writing in to SSN etc are convinced that he is now staying but iirc Fergie has said from the outset that he's staying yet nobody paid any attention to him untill now.

Its the Keane sale that I won't agree with if it goes through, still, Bent for top scorer next season anyone? :eek:

Could happen. He scored a bucket load for Charlton playing as a loan striker with the ball being knocked up to him, with him as a Spurs loan striker and the likes of Modric and dos Santos playing balls into him he could easily score 20!
